PRIVACY POLICY

Hill Investing Media, LLC

Effective Date: September 19, 2026

Version 1.0 (HIM-PP-2026-09-19)

  1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers

Hill Investing Media, LLC (“Hill Investing Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides educational and coaching programs, courses, cohorts, memberships, and communities relating to investing and financial markets under the Hill Investing Media and Tyler Hill brands. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.

This Policy applies to our websites, checkout and enrollment pages, email and messaging communications, private communities such as Discord, live and recorded sessions, and every educational offering that references this Policy (together, the “Services”). It is the Privacy Policy referenced in Section 12 of our Student Membership Agreement.

This Policy does not apply to third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies, including our checkout and payment providers, community platforms, and any external site we link to. Section 7 identifies the main categories of those providers.

  1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information in three ways: information you give us, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from third parties that help us operate the Services.

Information you provide to us:

  • Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, and, where you choose to provide it, your phone number, mailing address, or social media handle.
  • Account and enrollment information, such as your account identifier, username, the programs you enroll in, your access period, and your membership status.
  • Transaction information, such as the Covered Service purchased, price, billing interval, renewal dates, and partial payment-card details (for example, card brand and last four digits) received from our payment provider. We do not collect or store full payment-card numbers.
  • Communications, such as support requests, billing inquiries, dispute notices, survey responses, and your correspondence with us.
  • Content you submit, such as messages, posts, questions, files, and comments you share in a community or during a session, and any testimonial, review, photograph, audio, or video you voluntarily provide.
  • Session participation data, such as your name, image, likeness, voice, and chat messages captured when you take part in a recorded live session, as described in Section 10 of the Student Membership Agreement.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and connection data, such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, language, and time zone.
  • Usage data, such as pages viewed, links clicked, lessons or videos accessed and how much of them you watched, session duration, referring pages, and dates and times of access.
  • Cookies and similar technologies placed by us or by our providers, as described in Section 6.
  • Acceptance and security records, including the version of the Student Membership Agreement you accepted, the date, time, and time zone of acceptance, and the originating IP address, which we retain as evidence of your agreement under Section 22 of that Agreement.

Information from third parties:

  • Our checkout and payment providers give us confirmation of payment, subscription status, refunds, chargebacks, and limited billing details.
  • Community platforms give us your platform username and identifier so that we can grant, manage, and revoke your access.
  • Email, analytics, and advertising providers give us aggregated or individual engagement data, such as whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked.
  1. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to: provide, administer, and deliver the Services you purchase; create and secure your account and verify eligibility, including that you are at least eighteen (18) years old; process payments, renewals, cancellations, and billing disputes; grant and manage access to communities and content; respond to your questions and provide support; operate, moderate, and secure our communities; record live sessions for internal quality-control, training, recordkeeping, and program purposes; improve and develop our educational content and Services; measure engagement and understand which content is useful; send you transactional and service messages about your account, billing, and material changes to our terms; send marketing communications where you have consented or where we are otherwise permitted to do so; detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, account sharing, unauthorized access, and violations of our terms; maintain records of your acceptance of our agreements; establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your personal information to provide individualized investment advice, and we do not make investment recommendations. Our Services are educational only.

  1. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA and UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, where processing is necessary to deliver the Services you purchased; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and promoting our business, where those interests are not overridden by your rights; your consent, where we rely on it, such as for certain marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time; and compliance with a legal obligation.

  1. Marketing Communications and Your Choices

Where required by applicable law, we obtain your consent to marketing communications separately from your acceptance of the Student Membership Agreement. Consent to marketing is never a condition of purchasing or using a Covered Service.

You may withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at support@tylerhill.io. We will act on your request without undue delay. We may still send you non-marketing transactional and service messages about your account, billing, security, and material changes to our terms, because those messages are part of providing the Services.

  1. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, measure traffic and engagement, and, where permitted, support marketing and advertising measurement. Strictly necessary technologies are required for the Services to function. Where the law requires consent for non-essential technologies, we obtain it through a cookie banner or equivalent mechanism, and you may change your choice at any time.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working. We honor Global Privacy Control and similar recognized opt-out preference signals where applicable law requires us to do so.

  1. How and With Whom We Share Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described below.

  • Service providers and processors that operate the Services on our behalf under contract, including our checkout, subscription, and membership platform; payment processors; community and messaging platforms; videoconferencing and video hosting providers; email and customer-support providers; cloud hosting and storage providers; and analytics providers. These providers may process your information only on our instructions and for the purposes we specify.
  • Professional advisers, including our attorneys, accountants, auditors, and insurers, where necessary for legal, tax, or risk-management purposes.
  • Legal and safety disclosures, where we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a governmental request, or is necessary to enforce our agreements, investigate suspected fraud or abuse, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Hill Investing Media, our members, or others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable law.
  • With your direction or consent, including when you post content in a community, where other members can see it, or when you provide a testimonial for promotional use.

Some analytics or advertising technologies may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as “targeted advertising,” under certain U.S. state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. Where that is the case, you may exercise the opt-out described in Section 10.

  1. Community Content and Recorded Sessions

Information you post in a community is visible to other members of that community and to our moderators, and it may remain visible after your access ends. Please do not post sensitive personal information, account credentials, or another person’s private information. Live sessions may be recorded, and by participating you consent to the capture of your name, image, likeness, voice, and chat messages for the internal and educational purposes described in Section 10 of the Student Membership Agreement. We do not publish a full live-session recording as public advertising content unless you separately authorize it.

  1. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. In practice this means we retain account and enrollment records for the duration of your membership and afterwards as needed to administer renewals, respond to inquiries, and maintain our business records; transaction and billing records for the period required by tax, accounting, and payment-network rules; acceptance records for your agreements for at least the applicable limitations or prescriptive period, so that we can evidence the terms you agreed to; community content in accordance with the retention settings of the relevant platform; and session recordings for as long as needed for the purposes described above. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

  1. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to know or access the personal information we hold about you and how we use it; to request correction of inaccurate personal information; to request deletion of personal information; to request a portable copy of information you provided to us; to opt out of targeted advertising, of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of certain profiling; to withdraw consent where we rely on consent; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and, in the EEA or UK, to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, contact us at support@tylerhill.io. We will verify your request using information already associated with your account, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits, and we may ask the agent for proof of authority. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right, except where the law permits a difference that is reasonably related to the value of your information.

California residents may also request, once per year, a list of the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year under California’s “Shine the Light” law.

  1. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including access controls, encryption in transit, and provider-level protections. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for notifying us promptly of known or suspected unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. Children

The Services are intended only for adults. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to enroll in or use a Covered Service, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under eighteen, we will delete it and terminate the associated access. A parent or guardian who believes a minor has provided us personal information may contact us at support@tylerhill.io.

  1. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process personal information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws differ from those of your country. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with any additional measures required.

  1. Third-Party Sites

The Services may link to or rely on third-party websites and services. We do not control them, and this Policy does not apply to them. Review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

  1. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and, where the change is material, provide additional notice. Where applicable law requires it, we will obtain your consent before applying a material change to information we already hold about you. Changes to the Student Membership Agreement are governed separately by Section 21 of that Agreement.
